University Project
At the end of each semester there is an exhibition at our university, where all of the bachelor and master students present their final projects. So there is a course where other students create a corporate design for the exhibition and organise everything. I decided to take part in this course in my 6th semester.
Concept
That term our idea was to base the design on a supermarket theme. So the exhibition was the "supermarket" where all of the students presented their products. With this theme we wanted to show that design is everywhere, even in everyday places where most of us don't even notice it. Once we had found a suitable corporate design, my role in the team was to create a website for the exhibition and to help with the social media accounts. The other students developed a catalogue, print media, merchandising and the interior design. At the beginning of February 2024, the exhibition took place and everyone helped to set it up.
Website
The Parcours website always shows all of the students and their projects. The big difficulty this term was that there were more graduates than ever before. So we had to edit a lot of pictures and it took us a long time to insert everything. We did the layout in Adobe XD and our teacher did the programming. Then we filled it all in.

Social Media
The main social media for the exhibition was an Instagram account (@parcours_msd). We needed to fit a lot of different posts into the feed. For example, there were some interviews we filmed with recommended graduates. Then there had to be posts about sponsors and we needed to give further information about the exhibition. The difficulty here was to give the posts a consistent look and feel so that the feed was appealing. As the overall theme was supermarket, we decided to use receipts to link the posts together. We had a short time to plan, create and post the posts, so we used a timetable to keep track.
The Exhibition
At the end of the term the exhibition took place. The images below give you an idea of what the other media we created looked like. They also show how the building was staged.
Conclusion
This course was one of the biggest I have ever taken part in. It was also the first time I created something for an exhibition. Sometimes it was a big challenge to work under pressure. But in the end we managed to finish everything before the exhibition date. I found it very interesting to work with so many other people and we worked very well as a team. In the end, we were very proud of what we had achieved and that everyone had a great time at the exhibition.
